A photoshoot that’s such a fun experience for your family and a perfect way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday, turning one in style with an adorable, bespoke setup. The session includes props, portrait photos, a cake, and ends with a splash in a cute little bath filled with bubbles. The focus in this type of session is to naturally capture your baby’s unique character. The cake is a great way to keep your little one engaged and in one place while we photograph them from all angles during a fun and enjoyable experience you’ll remember forever. Cake smash sessions are typically done on or around your baby’s first birthday, with or without a cake—it’s completely your choice. Every setup is unique to you. Consultation

We will have a chat and go through your photoshoot in more detail, discuss any preferences and look at what dates are available to get you booked in for you experience! Once you are all booked in, we will start planning! You will receive a preparation guide to help with achieving the best photos on the day

Your Cake smash experience is approx 1 hour

Experience

Welcome to your Cake smash photoshoot experience! During your session, we’ll start with a relaxed chat over refreshments, where we’ll discuss whats going to happen during your session.
I’ll start the session by capturing some lovely portrait photos of your baby before we dive into the cake smash fun! We’ll get messy, use props, and capture every adorable angle as your little one enjoys their cake (which is included as part of your experience). Then we’ll move on to bath time, bubbles, splashing, and a clean baby to end the session on a high. I’ve got cute cake stands to match your chosen theme, little baths, and everything is included, so you can simply relax and enjoy the moment

Guests

This experience is designed to focus on just baby but siblings are welcome to to join in for parts of the session if you'd like

Props & Drops

Your cake smash session will be completely bespoke and tailored just for you. I’ll create a setup in the theme of your choice, with specialised props, balloons, banners, twinkly lights, and even large “ONE” letters if you’d like. I also have little baths and cake stands to match your chosen style, along with a variety of backdrop colours to suit your theme perfectly.

Photographs

You will receive a complimentary large fine art print with any order made

Around a week later you will come back to choose your images
